Cocoa Bites

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup of gluten-free, quick-cook oats
  • 1 cup of organic, whole raw almonds
  • ¼ cup of maple syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. of Olive Your Heart®, lemon flavor 
  • 2 Tbsp. of raw cacao powder
  • Pinch of sea salt

Suggested Kitchen Accessory

  • 1.5 tbsp. cookie scoop ​

Directions

  1. Place almonds in a food processor for 1-2 minutes until coarsely ground.
  2. Remove almonds and place them in a large bowl.
  3. Add oats, raw cacao powder, and salt to bowl and mix thoroughly.
  4. In a small dish, stir together Olive Your Heart®, lemon flavor and maple syrup.
  5. Add Olive Your Heart® mixture to dry ingredients and combine.
  6. Using cookie scoop, scoop out 1.5-tablespoon portions of batter into hand.
  7. Squeeze and shape into round cocoa bites. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
